Spanish Lead Teacher
Elizabeth is a native of Honduras where she studied at the Villa Ahumada School of Teaching, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Primary School Education. She was trained and certified in First Grade Special Education, while also gaining government certification in adult education. As an elementary school teacher in Honduras, Elizabeth developed her school’s curriculum and led classroom instruction in all basic subject areas.
Elizabeth later moved to New York City where she was a childcare worker, implementing and coordinating recreational activities. She cared for children twelve years old and younger.
Before joining CommuniKids, Elizabeth worked for three years at The Richmond Waldorf School as the Spanish teacher for first grade through seventh grade. She brings eighteen years of teaching and experience to the Richmond team.
