Spanish Assistant Teacher
Meet Danny Velasquez, our enthusiastic Assistant Teacher at CommuniKids! Originally from Bolivia, Danny has been an essential part of our school community for 1 year. As a happy mother of two lovely teenagers, she discovered her love for teaching while working as a teacher’s assistant at Washington Hebrew. This realization led her to pursue a major in Early Childhood Education at the University of the District of Columbia. Prior to CommuniKids, she worked at DCPS, gaining valuable experience in the field. Danny holds an Associate Degree in Education and is currently pursuing her BA in Early Childhood, with plans to graduate in Spring 2024. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, and engaging in art, adding creativity and joy to her life both inside and outside the classroom. We are delighted to have Danny’s dedication and love for teaching enriching the lives of our young learners at CommuniKids!
