French After School Program

Our school-age after school French program exposes children to the target language in an immersion setting.

CommuniKids Tenleytown, Cathedral Commons and Falls Church locations invite you to register your child for their Spanish, Mandarin or French (depending on location) Learning AfterSchool program 3 or 5 days a week for the 2024-25 school year.

We offer Spanish or French (depending on location) to children from PreK 4 to second grade and serve schools in DCPS. We are a short walk away from Janney Elementary School and Hearst Elementary School. Our staff will walk the children to CommuniKids. Our native-speaking teachers are credentialed in Early Childhood / Elementary Education. They have years of experience working with children.

Programs run from 3:30 pm to 6 pm
Start Date: September 3, 2024
Last day of school: June 11, 2025
Winter/Spring Break: TBD

Serving students from public/private schools in the surrounding area.

5 Day Program: Our afterschool yearly tuition is $4,975.00 (September - June). Payments are split as follows: a deposit of $497.50 and nine monthly installments of $497.50 from September 2024- May 2025.

3 Day Program: Our afterschool yearly tuition is $2,984.00 (September - June). Payments are split as follows: a deposit of $298.40 and nine monthly installments of $298.40 from September 2024 - May 2025.
We offer a 10% discount for early payment in full (by Sept. 01, 2024).

CommuniKids accepts the following: Online payments and personal checks.

CommuniKids requires a two-week advance notice for any changes made or to stop charging your account. Yet the deposit will not be refunded.

Minimum of 6 children required

Discounts:

  • Sibling 5% off to the second or third child
  • Military 5% off to each child
  • Refer a friend $50 off when your friend signs up for a program

After School Program for School-Age Children (Routine will be adjusted to children's regular school schedule)
