Fadila Rakene
Program Manager for PKEEP and Government Programs
Fadila joined our team in 2014. During her time here she has had many different positions, including Lead/ Resource teacher, Enrichment/Afterschool Coordinator, part of the student support team, and is currently our Assistant Director. All this experience has given Fadila a well-rounded perspective of early childhood education. Fadila was born and raised in Algeria, and moved to the United States in 2010. She holds a CDA (Childhood Development Associate) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Finance from Mouloud Mammeri University in Algeria. She also worked at Language Stars as a Senior Teacher in charge of hiring, training, mentoring and supervising here in the DC area. She has a passion for languages and speaks French, Arabic, Berber, and English. Fadila is passionate about teaching young children languages and believes that the beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people.
