Sofia Gonzales
Spanish Lead Teacher
Sofia is from Lima, Peru, where she studied math education at the Instituto Pedagogico de Monterico. She volunteered for several years as a math and reading teacher for adults. Since arriving in DC, she has been working with young children as a nanny and a preschool teacher. She also earned her CDA while working as an assistant teacher at CommuniKids and leading aftercare activities, before taking on the position of lead teacher. She loves incorporating music, dance, and singing into the preschool classroom.
